Isabella Acker

Isabella Acker, or Bella, how she is often referred to, is the kinda gal you want to sit with and contemplate life. Five minutes into the conversation and you understand her allure. She’s present, genuine, and has that child-like enthusiasm author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry often described. As the Founder and “Curator of Culture” of Prism Creative Group (an experientially focused agency that makes culture accessible, and seeks to elevate the community through curated events) she has resurrected the arts scene in our city. We opt for Isabelle’s Grill Room & Garden at the Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove, for it’s only fitting to have some delicious poké and swordfish prepared by Executive Chef Abel Veulens with Isabella at Isabelle’s.

Who do you credit for influencing your entanglement with the muses? Who sparked in you that “burning desire” toward the arts?

From an early age my mom exposed me to culture. From theater classics, to museum exhibits and foreign films, my mom was always passionate about the arts. It wasn’t until my late teens that I began to appreciate everything she truly fought to expose me to.
