An Amazing May

From celebrations and tasty bites to global musicians with gusto: Happy Springtime

Join the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and its Board of Trustees in celebrating the second anniversary of the museum’s opening in Downtown Miami on Saturday, May 4, at the 3rd Annual Celebration of Science. This year’s gala fundraiser theme is The Science of the Senses, taking guests on a sensory journey through the museum’s aquarium and a roving dining and entertainment experience designed to stimulate their sense of wonder. The museum will honor Dr. Eugene J. Sayfie with the 2019 Visionary Award. Stay for the late-night portion of the event, Big Bang After Party: The Sixth Sense, and celebrate the sixth sense and the endless possibilities hidden behind the concept of extrasensory perception. de Venezuela)

Join The Fillmore Miami Beach in welcoming three legendary Venezuelan musical acts in this May of music marvels. On Wednesday, May 1, make a mark and start the month off with funk-filled tunes by Los Amigos Invisibles as they bring their eclectic sound to the stage. Slide into your sassy pumps, grab your sweetie and sashay your way to The Fillmore Miami Beach to experience a Latin legend, Oscar D’ Leon.
